WHO WE ARE
The Salisbury Sailing Team is a club organization affiliated with Salisbury University. We compete in the Middle Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association (MAISA), southern division, on the east coast. We sail our fleet on the Assawomen Bay in Ocean Pines in both the Fall and Spring Semesters.
As a club, we welcome all who love sailing and anyone interested in learning!! Don't worry if you don't know a mainsheet from a mizzenmast, if you want to learn, we want to teach you. We also welcome the chance to talk to you, either in person or via email. Visit our contact page where any and all of the officers would love to talk to you.

CLEANING UP FROM A FUN SEASON
Salisbury University hosts their own home regatta! Leaving out of the Ocean Pines yacht club regional schools sail against us in an effort to take down the sea gulls.
At the end of the season fun we have to give awards of course! The team got together and went to Fratelli's, a local Italian restaurant to receive their awards!
At the end of each season our team goes thru all of the boats and gets them prepared for the winter or summer months
DUES
Dues are 50 dollars for returning, and 75 for new members per semester that are due before or during the second practice you attend. You may submit your dues to our presidentMegan Lucas. You may pay with cash only. If you decide that you no longer wish to sail with us after attending your first practice you are not obligated to pay dues.

MEGAN LUCAS
President/Captain
Megan is a sophomore Psychology and Pre-Med major and has sailed since the fall of her freshman year. Although she has not sailed for very long she always says that joining this team, this family, was the best decision of her life. She encourages students at any skill level that is motivated and interested to join!
THOMAS BURLEY
Captain
Tom is a senior finance major in the Perdue School of Business. He has sailed for two years now and is always open to learning and growing with regards to the sport. He is hoping to continue to grow the team in skill and size, and is looking forward to the upcoming season.
